Camberwell Graphics Degree Show -Illustration

MOIRA PENDER
Throughout my time at Camberwell i feel my illustrative work has greatly developed.
I am particularly influenced by Pre-Raphaelite drawing and the work of artists such as Andy Warhol and David Hockey, although this may not be easily visible in my work.
I work in acrylic and ink, using bold outlines and flat planes of colour,and i also produce illustrative work using collage.
I also produce 3-Dimensional, and photographic work, an example of this can be seen here.
I have always questioned notions of what illustration is believed to be, and feel it is important to promote the development of challenging and innovative approaches.
I want to be a part of the encouragement of new and inspiring forms within the visual language of the future
