BERTE NERAAL
In the last years I have been realising my ideas through moving images, creating collages, 3-D objects and drawings for video montage and animation.
My artwork is surrealistic in style with an ongoing theme about identity (from a cultural, gendered,social point of view), as for example the loss of identity, a struggle coming alive in people's obsession about their self image.
Throughout my studies and work experiences I have gained a wide variety of technical skills like computing (Photoshop, QuarkXpress,Director) and video editing (U-matic, 3-machine edit) which I'd like to contribute to any area of multimedia, dealing with animated imagery.
