ISIDORA SEKULIC
When she arrived at Camberwell in 1994 she was
primarily interested in the principal of sequential
thinking and in use of outdated typeface for
aesthetic effect.
During her second year her
interests widen to incorporate the knowledge
of computer systems such as amiga, director and pc
(sound).
Using video images collected from around
her she fed them into these programs to achieve
moving image pieces that are both personal and informative,
interactive and objective.
In her third year she has worked closely
with contemporary dance students to achieve a piece of work that
is spacial and interactive - that relies on the strength of
video with an powerful use of sound to accompany moving image.
She is presently applying to Duncan of Jordanstone College in
Dundee for a one year postgraduate course in electronic imaging.
She intends to further her research into sound and explore the
relationship between ourselves and media.
She is constantly poor, requires work to buy
new shoes.
