Camberwell Graphics Degree Show

BARNEY COLLIS
During the course of this degree many people have gently arrested my attention and asked me, "Your excellence, why is it that you squander your invaluable time here, at this lowly institution, when you were so clearly meant for immeasurably greater things?"
I often reply that there are many challenges that a man must face during the long and arduous journey that is his life, and that amongst these a degree in Graphic Design is the path of a truly wise man.
"Is it possible" they so often reply "That this is the path to true enlightenment?"
In order to reply to this I often feel compelled to retell the ancient scriptures told to me by my father when I was but a small child.
"Son" he said "There is more room in heaven for a single man proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Quark Express than there is for a thousand fine artists and illustrators." Truly the words of an enlightened man.
