GEORGINA GYFTOPOULOU Why don't you go back in time, just a few years, and remember yourself being a graduate student. Recall your ideas, thoughts and the great big dreams you had. Didn't you use to imagine that one day you will be famous, at least for 15 minutes? Hadn't you spent time lying on your bed, late at night, with your eyes closed wondering what the hell you were going to do the year after? Have you forgotten about the job offers that required people with at least four years of working experience and you knew you had none? Remember the days, the weeks, the months that silently passed by with no replies from any potential employers. You are probably wondering where I am getting at. Sorry! Can't help you.....but I am sure you can help me! The image you see is a sample of my work. Photoshop and Quark Express are the programs I am most experienced in. During my four years of studying in London, I tried to get involved in as many different subjects as possible, in order to learn and understand the different methods one could use in graphic design. Printmaking, typography, painting, photography and computer designing are some of them. Photography is my passion. My work stands out because it is bright and colourful something that I have inherited from my country's culture, Greece. I have worked in small and large scales and I enjoyed both a lot. I am delighted in working in groups as well as working on my own. I am a hardworker and I am willing to start from the bottom of the ladder and take it step by step up to the point where my dream will be fulfilled.
